  • I'm the same way! I swear, I drink a big glass of water then have to pee 10 minutes later...then 5 minutes after that...then 3 minutes after that. It sucks, but, we may just have small bladders :(
  • I'm the same way!! It's SO annoying! Hopefully our bodies will just get used to the increased water intake in time!

I'm in the same boat! Luckily, the bathroom is near and people don't notice me going every t0 minutes. But don't try and hold it in for a long time- it weakens your bladder when you get older (per my doctor).

Water drinkers have to use the restroom often as I do all the time!!! It can get annoying but I say it's part of a cleansing process everyday. Although very annoying but well worth it. I be more worried if I didn't use the restroom much in a day. I've never drank sodas or sugar juices anyway growing up so I absolutely love water and can drink it all day :)

If you have to pee every 3 min and don't have a medical condition causing it, then you are consuming too many fluids.

If you're immediately peeing the water back out 10-15 minutes after drinking, you've not got enough sodium in your body to help your cells make use of the water you're drinking. Drinking water is great for you, but guzzling it and not drinking or eating anything else makes it virtually useless to your body as a cleansing tool. Try ingesting something small with a little sodium -- no junk food or anything, veggies will do.

This will probably get me yelled at, but drink a little less. Still drink lots of water, but don't overhydrate.

Yes, drinking a lot of water will make you need to go alot! I try to drink 10-12 cups a day. When I first started I was going to the bathroom constantly, but after a couple of weeks my body adjusted a bit and I don't go as often anymore. Drinking water is so good for you, and what's wrong with the additional activity level of always having to get up and go to the bathroom? :-)

I don't get this obsession with drinking water all the time... If you're perfectly healthy and spending most of your days peeing, it's a good sign your body has had enough water and you should probably cut back. By forcing yourself to drink more, you're just wasting time and putting unnecessary stress on your kidneys.

It means your body is healthy and getting rid of excess water. Don't drink so much water.

Your body gets used to it. And, just drink enough to keep your urine very pale.

There is no medical reason to drink that much water, nor is there a medical reason to keep your urine pale. Urine is supposed to be yellow. When your body needs water, you feel thirsty. Your body is very smart that way.
