I am amyjo57 and I am just new on this site. I am going to give this a try. I can see already that my oatmeal for breakfast wasn't such a hot idea. Okay, I did put raisins and brown sugar on it, but I drank skim milk! :-)

I do hope this helps me, I lost over 100 pounds and have sadly gained back about 60 of it. :-(

  • Welcome! you can do it! :)
  • Hehe its a bit of a wake up call at first! I in-putted all my favourite breakfasts at first to see which one was best calorie wise which has been really useful!

Its nice to know that you can still have a naughty bacon sarnie for breakfast and then have a low calorie lunch and your still within your calorie intake!

    Keep at it!

I have oatmeal pretty much every day. I find it keeps me full longer and I end up eating less for the rest of the day so, for me it balances out.

Welcome! You can do it! Reach out and ask for help - everyone here is pretty darn great about lending a helping hand : ) Feel free to friend if you would like. I procrastinated for the first few months - but have decided with the new year to get my oversized rear in gear!!
  • thanks for the welcome. I have several friends from church that have lost weight following using the tools here. I just have been procrastinating and I have procrastinated myself up to a tight size 18. That wouldn't be bad if I was 5'10", I am only 4'11". LOL

Good luck! I know I've done the lose and gain battle many times, I'm sure others have too. I'm not really new, but am new to being more involved and actually tracking my stuff! Hope finding support here helps!
  • I'm new too. I have 121 lbs left to go. I've lost 5 already. I think it's really about taking it one meal at a time and making a healthy choice for that meal and consistency. After a few days it will become habit, you won't crave the "bad" stuff and it gets easier.

    Good Luck!
