I just have a question for you folks out there and I need your opinions about this situation. I ask this girl at work if she has a bf and she said no. She added me on facebook and it seems that she has a bf. Now I am confused, why would she tell me that she is single even though she is not? I am just wondering, cause I cant seem to figure it out myself. Any opinions would be appreciated folks. thanks!

    some girls say they have boyfriends on facebook so creepers don't contact them. i know people who've done this before, or asked a guy friend to pretend they're dating, or they're dating on facebook as a joke.
    i'd listen to her before i believe her facebook. or else she wants to cheat on her bf with you?

    well I can think of 2 possibilities:

    1. she lied & doesn't mind cheating on him
    2. it's her ex and she just hasn't changed her info yet

    It is very possible that she actually in one way does not consider herself to have a boyfriend while at the same time in other ways she does.
    In other words she may have a guy she hangs with but does not consider him a real long term prospect.

    There's also that thing some people do where they put themselves "in a relationship" with a buddy as a joke just to be funny. Hopefully it's something like that. Definitely ask her to clear that up with you. Good luck!
