Filling Foods

Hi there, my University graduation is on friday... I'll be eating breakfast around 8ish and won't be able to eat again until probably close to 2:00 that afternoon. I'll be staying in a hotel, so I don't really have a wide range of options for breakfast.... what foods should I eat to keep me full for those 5 or 6 hours?

I second the eggs... maybe a veggie omelette? You can usually find those in just about any place that serves breakfast. If you are going with the continental breakfast, they will sometimes have hard boiled eggs on hand too. Or, if there are no eggs in site, maybe a packet of oatmeal, some yogurt and a banana. Can you stash a little snack somewhere in that graduation robe? Or under the hat? Or wear a garter to keep it in place if you don't have pockets  A granola bar would come in handy for sure.0

I would first go with dclarsh's advice and if none of those work out then be sure your prepared and
bring in your own Slimfast canned drink (or 2 ) and keep it on ice in the sink and a banana. The granola bar hide in you garter..Perfect....

I always carry a little stash of unsalted almonds with me. Doesn't take much room and they just take the edge off my hunger. Congrats on your graduation!0

Congratulations! Lots of hard work paying off now!
As far as food. Def have eggs. they are high in protein and last a long time. If I have a high fiber english muffin, 1 egg, 1/2 slice cheese (sometimes a strip of bacon or slice of ham) in the morning, with a banana or apple, I am good till 1ish.
I also carry almonds everwhere I go.
Have fun and enjoy your day!:flowerforyou:0 -
I would go for eggs, whole wheat toast, and 2 slices of tomatoes. Another thing I found that will keep me full for about 3 -4 hours is Carnation Instant Breakfast.0

I carry beef jerky in my purse for emergencies. I try to get a lean brand and I find just a few bites will last me a while.0

Oatmeal is a great at filling me up. You can get the Quaker weight control variety and microwave it in your hotel room.0
