weigh ins

How do you feel about weigh ins? I think if I were to weigh weekly I might become discouraged. Thinking about weighing once a month as long as I stay under my daily goal. Thoughts anyone????

    My co-worker is the same way. Seeing a 1 lb loss is frustrating to her so she only wants to weigh-in once a month. She weighs, though, what I WANT to weigh! She only wants to lose 10 lbs. She is currently in a funk right now.

    I, however, have 40 lbs to lose. I weigh in more than once a day whenever I feel extra skinny (of course, i'm not entering them all into MFP - only the losses :laugh: ). I'm excited to see just a .5 change in my weight and don't get all upset if I see a gain due to water or hormones or clothes.

    I would say do what you know works for you. Stay positive, Be patient.

    Definitely weigh in once a week! Sometimes you think you had a good week but gained weight. It will keep you in check.
  • i weigh in every three weeks as to not get discouraged over the little daily fluxuations in weight!
