You should get one of those tickers I've seen around here that shows how long you've been smoke-free. Given it also tells you how much money you save... addaed incentive to keep going, especially if you take some of the money for a tiny monthly gift!

    Congrats to you!!!!

I know how hard it is....especially to do it cold turkey. I just quit smoking a couple of months ago or so and I did it cold turkey. I had been smoking off and on for over 20 years (the off times were when I was pregnant...but of course right after my baby and the breastfeeding, I'd pick it right up again). So now I take it one day at a time - for today I am smoke free.

You can do this! Just have faith in yourself. You are stronger than you realize.

    Good luck to you!!!

Way to go, that is awesome :flowerforyou: I used to smoke and I quit cold turkey too and it can be very hard, I just made up my mind one day that I wasn't going to smoke anymore and threw my cigs in the trash, I still had some cravings for the cigs but I would pop in some gum and I have never touched another one and that has been 7 years ago.
