Ok, so I feel like I am standing still on the scale so I decided to make a change. I went into my profile and changed it from losing 2 lbs a week (which I never do) to losing one lb a week. It only added 240 calories for a day.

Does that sound about right?

Cutting out 500 calories a day usually roughly calculates to a loss of 1 pound per week, so I'm not sure where MFP is getting that number (240) BUT if you are stalled, it would probably be good to give your body a few more calories per day to keep your metabolism up. Just try to keep your 'insulin release' levels low by not eating too many servings of simple carbs (fruit, bread, white potato) at a time.
