I am struggling with my day off. I know I need one to recover but I am just so nervious about taking a day off and not going back to it again. I have been working out for over two years and I have taken my days off but I still struggle with this, anyone else? Friends tell me I am so strong and driven I feel like a fake some times.

Im feeling like that TODAY!! Well me and my partner.. We were suppose to go to lunch today, but I kinda shot the idea down after looking forward to it for the last couple of days.. Im kinda in a rut too.. I know WE (EVERYONE) deserves a day off, but im soo afraid of gaining back those 4 damn pounds with just one meal! lol...

I would say you have lost soo much weight, that you deserve it... I wouldn't go over board, but, I would do it.. You have to reward yourself ya know??

"Days off" are a part of a normal balance of life. I'm of the opinion that you need these to keep going. This is what helps me in the long run...to know that I'm allowed to eat without logging or worrying about it every once in a while. As long as you can get back on track, go for it!

All of us have the same problem. We choose bondage over freedom in this area and a lot of others. Do not look at your day off with guilt. It is FREEDOM. And you are FREE to take it or not. Guilt does not need to be part of the equation. Enjoy FREEDOM every chance you get. You are doing GREAT---just stay focused on the long term goal and your motives for acheiving that goal. Looking backwards slows progress and takes us off course.
