I have it, i think i've tried one of them - i do love tony horton BUT its a bit of a gimmick though because yes, its a 10 min trainer but really he does kind of stress that you should try and do 3 of them in the day, basically saying that really you should do a 30 mins one lol!

i'll probably get around to trying it properly at some point.

That does sound like a gimmick but I heard that 30 minutes of (any) exercise at one time is ideal but if you don't have time for that, getting in exercise in 5 & 10 minute increments that add up to 30 is almost as good. So if you keep a bunch of different 10 minute dvds by the tv & pop one in whenever you have a few minutes to spare it's probably a lot easier to get your exercise in.
  • I just saw the infomercial as well! I know I need more than 10 mins a day of activity but I think it sounds like a good start & great for when you have limited time. Probably easy to split up so do one DVD when you wake up & maybe one later in the day when you have a few free minutes. Something is better than nothing. I was thinking of giving it a try. Right now I'm doing 3 days of Zumba (45 minutes each day) so really need to step it up to 4 or 5 days or cardio plus 2-3 days of strength. But when???? :(

I have seen many people use the 10 minute trainer but I have not personally. it is ideal to workout 30 minutes a day, but Tony's 10 minute workouts allow you to sneak in a quick work out when you don't have time. I would suggest something more like Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 .... its a 20 minute DVD.

The reason i like the sound of the 10 min trainer is that if i have a few min here and there i can pop on in and be done and go back later plus there are 8 different work outs to choose from and i love that , i get sooo bored with work outs sooo fast lol i tried jillian micheals 30 day shred and it totally bored me after a week. i know that 30 mins is the ideal and more if you can do so i am just thinking it is a good start and when i have 30mins+ i could do 3 of the work outs or do 1 or 2 and then my elliptical

I am on week 2, day 3 of TMT and honestly love it. I am following their program by stacking the videos to 30 mins/day in hopes of getting great results in the end. I wear my HRM watch and am pleasantly surprised at how many calories I burn in that 30 min (typically 290-320). :)
  • The program is based of super stacking. It works your body out in 10 as if you were on the treadmill for 30 mins. With any workout, what you put in to it is what you will get out of it!!!! If you have more than 10 mins you can do more than just one workout.

I bought it....and it was just too annoying for me. It is actually 30 minutes a day....I can get that at the gym. It was a decent workout. I ended up sending it back and getting a refund.

    THIS!

There is no such thing as not having the time. Nobody ever came to me and once ever said "I've got some extra time on my hands and though I'd get fit".

    You make the time.

I lost 34 lbs in about a year using TMT and monitoring ky foods with MFP. I made every attempt at doing 3 workouts a day but i also have 6 kids, 2 of whom were 2 at the time...so for anyone to say that anyone has time is quite offensive. Go ahead and swing by my house on any given day. Anyway, there are no gimmicks with TMT. I know many who have done only the 10 min a day every day and do get results. The muscle confusion is the key; if the muscles don't have the time to gey used to an activity, they continue working.
