Hello all you runners out there! I am always looking for new music to add to my running playlist. Let me know what songs or artists motivate you. I enjoy most genres of music - here is a small taste of what I already have
The Roots, Metallica (pre-Black album), Rhianna, Ice Cube, Kesha (for running ONLY), Black Keys, a little Pantera...

So, what do you like to run to?

Love Reign O'er Me by the Who! Especially if you've listened to Quadrophenia (really the whole album works) or after you watch the final scene in the movie Quadrophenia just makes me envision running on the beach. It's such a beautiful song/album, too. Running to it is great.

As stupid as it sounds, the theme from Rocky. No matter whether it's running or you are working out or just doing the cleaning up of the house, that tune just gets you motivated and moving.

LOL! I had that disc and I played it soooo much! I wonder if it's still kicking around...
  • I love running to all the songs on the "Make Yourself" album by Incubus. Also love "Best of You" by Foo Fighters. Oh, and some Chris Brown usually keeps me moving.
