Hey lovely people.

My name is Felicia. I am 24 years old and I live in Chico California, I attend Chico State where I will be obtaining my BA in General History this upcoming fall. I have been working on losing weight for a while. When I was a little girl, I had several problems with my thyroid. So I just figured that is why I was big. My mother never got me medication to fix it. So I quickly ballooned. So that was my excuse for being big for the longest time. Pfft I call myself a BBW, I don't need to confirm to societies standard of beauty. But as I age, I am quickly getting over that whole concept. I find some men into BBW to be fetishist. Recently i've noticed I get winded just going up the stairs. I think that is mostly why I want to lose weight. I am tired of being tired doing the simplest of things.

I am 5'2 and I weight...well actually I don't know what I weight....I am guessing 300lbs maybe even more. I am just taking this year to make a change. I want to be a smaller healthier me. I am not losing weight for cosmetic reasons. I find myself gorgeous. I just want to be around a size 16. I think I need to lose about 100lbs, and I am hoping I can do that within two years.

I've been having my successes and failures with dieting, but I am hoping this year to stick to it.

wish me luck!

-Felicia

Yay! Lol i am thinking of meeting up with a dietician just so I can get a good diet plan. I still need to build the confidence up to go to a gym. But baby steps as they say.

Good luck, and don't worry about a gym...walking's free. You're on a college campus, I'm sure there's plenty of places to walk. Just be safe.

There sure is! Lol last semester my classes were very far apart, and one after another. Not to mention on the third floor. I sure got a work out. That is mostly why I want to lose weight. Tired of being out of breath.

Good luck!! You can definately do it!! I agree don't feel like you have to go to the gym, start by going up and down the stairs a few extra times a day :)
