Turkey Sausage Jambalaya- W/ Pic :)
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
Jennie O Turkey Store - Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage Lean, 3 link
1/2 cup chopped white onion
Green Giant - Valley Fresh Steamers Extra Sweet Niblets Corn, 1 cup cooked
Zatarain's - New Orleans Jambalaya Mix, 8 cup prepared
Goya - Black Beans Low Sodium, 1/2 cup
Directions:
Prepare the rice as directed by box. While the rice is cooking, steam corn in microwave as directed. Next, empty the can of black beans and rinse, then place 1/2 cup aside in a bowl. Once the corn is finished, measure out half of the bag, and place it in the bowl with the black beans. Use a cutting board to chop the white onion as desired, measure out 1/2 cup, and then place with the bowl of black beans and corn. Next, heat a skillet with cooking spray, and cut up the sausage links as desired. When the skillet is hot, cook the sausage until brown and no longer pink. Gradually, add in the onions, corn, and black beans onto the skillet. When finished, transfer the rice to a serving bowl, add the sausage, onions, corn, and black beans, stir, and you're ready to go! Enjoy!
