Day 5 of 30 DS....I am starting to see a difference :D

I have only lost about 2 lbs since I started 30 DS, but I have lost at leaser an inch is my waist! It's great!!

  • Nice! I just finished day 8 and have lost a couple of pounds, as well as an inch on the waist. It's incredible how fast it whips your body into shape. :)

    Do you do it every day? I have read mixed posts about taking a break or mixing it up. I was fast results... I have a brides maid dress fitting in a month.

    It's a work out DVD by Jillian MIchaels that consists of strength, cardio and abs. People get great results in 30 days!

    I did the first 2 days but could hardly walk after that? wondering if everyone else felt that way too?? I've taken a 2 day break and finally walk and sit like a normal person again. Planning to start again tomorrow....lol

    I was doing it faithfully, and then we went on holiday and haven't done it since... I should get that dvd back out! It made me feel great and I could tell a huge difference in my endurance.

    ... Though, my husband isn't a fan... he made it through half of the first day.

    The first 3 days are the hardest and then it gets better. I couldn't even go to the bathroom and sit without wanting to cry at first. Start again and keep going - it gets better!!

    mmmm.... in 5 days you say? I think I need to crack mine out! I picked it up for $5 at the Boxing Day sales up here in Canada. I thought... sounds like a good deal... $5 work-out video :)

    Funny you mention the bathroom...lol I work in a Dr's office so we have the big metal handles next to the toilet....I had to use that just to get down and to pull myself back up ( while crying out in pain )....

    LMAO - I find myself doing that too at my job... I'm pretty sure I moaned too - god only knows what people were thinking.. LOL. Good luck!

    I did day 6 yesterday and although I haven't measured or weighed yet I can definitely see a difference in my shape alread! My husbands even commented on it! I love Jillian Michaels! (Although I hate her for the time I'm actually doing the shred!)
  • LOL I just mute the tv and turn on some music. I work out better that way :)
  • I just finished day two, and it took me about 10 minutes to wash my hair as I couldn't lift my arms up to my head!!! I know it will be worth it by the time I get to day 5, and especially day 30!

  • My arms haven't been super-sore, though if I reach across my body for any reason, I get a twinge of pain (probably from doing those chest flies!) The first couple of days, I could barely walk down the stairs, haha. I was pathetic, but I kept going--no break days for me!
