Measuring body fat %

I know the hydro or DEXA testing is the accurate way to measure body fat percent. But since that is not an option. Is there a second more accurate way to measure body fat %? My bathroom scale presently shows 22%, Dr did caliper at 16-18%, and an online calculator using measurements weight etc shows 11%. Obviously there is a huge variation in these numbers. I'm trying to figure out what it may really be at.
I read somewhere you can't see abs if you are more than 20% body fat, I clearly have visible defined abs so if that statement was accurate I'm lower than 20%.

Hard so say since there are no photos to compare. But 11% and 22% is a gigantic difference. If you are a male, it's huge. If you are female, it's seriously difficult to get down to 11%0

There are a number of online body fat calculators; which one did you use? Some others:

That's crazy... I did this link.... http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/
for me and it's saying that I have an 'acceptable' amount of body fat. This is what it actually said (the amount)...
You have a Body Fat Percentage of 29.46%.
Yeah, that's not great but I'm pretty sure I have more than that as I'm considered 'severely obese' when it comes to my height and weight - not to mention, the past few years I've led a very sedentary life... so I doubt that that's correct.0 -
Hey there,
I used to be 26% and I couldn't see my abs at all. I used to joke about it to people that I had an "ab". One big one. It was only when I hit the mid teens that you could finally see the abs coming through.
