So that's my first day using MFP tools and food and exercise log! I am so LOVING how easy it is to be able to keep track of everything. Granted some of the food calories are estimates or things closest to what I actually ate, but it still gives me a pretty good idea of what I'm intaking.

Day 1, I went over my daily caloric intake by 54 g :S, but I was still under my daily allowance in other areas. I'm not going to be too hard on myself as if this was any normal day without me counting at all...I know that what I would have eaten would be way more than that! So a little awareness and information and I can try harder the next day to stay under the projected goals. Also, today wasn't a gym day so I had to really push myself to find some ways to get my exercise/cardio in. I know I could have done more but I'll just keep plugging away!

I am so excited and am really happy to have found MFP! I can't stay away from the Success Stories thread...nothing like other peoples' success to get inspired and KEEP THOSE BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS COMING! I am addicted to them and SO happy for everyone who's just going and DOING IT! Losing weight and getting healthy and lookin' seeeexy and happy! I can't WAIT until I get to be a part of that too! I've got my before picture under lock and key and hopefully soon, steady but surely I'll be working towards my during and after pics!

Thanks to everyone who made me feel so welcome here and answered some of my questions (although *embarrassed* after I asked them, I went back a few more pages and found someone else who'd already asked the same question, so THANK YOU also for your patience with us new folks too!)

I am off to get some cuddle time with the hubby and the pooch and I'm turning in to get ready for DAY TWO! w00t!

Love your enthusiasm! That will take you a long way on your journey to be healthy and fit.

I, too, am in love with this website. It's unlike anything I've seen before, and I find it so much easier to stay on track.

    Wishing you all the best!
