Just wondering if anyone trains 7 days a week or whether you take a day or two off for your muscles to relax?
Depending on the intensity of training I try to take a couple of days off. Just wondered

I try to do something every day - not because I'm looking to "exercise", but I'm an active person. I like riding bikes, or hiking, walking the dog, whatever. As for letting muscles relax, I only lift twice a week, maybe three days, on non-consecutive days to let my muscles heal. But as far as moving around, every day0

I do weights three day a week, 3 day split.
I do abs on off days.
I do not do a whole lot of cardio now, besides my job (labor intensive), and hunting on the weekends.0 -
No, I take at least one day off to rest. There have been a few times when I've gone 12-13 days in a row, but there were usually extenuating circumstances. My goal is 6 days a week, but sometimes I'm satisfied with 5.0

On my "off" days, I often will take the dog for a walk or something. I stay active, but don't "exercise".0

Usually I exercise 2-4 times a week, but recently I have been sick, so I haven't been going to the YMCA.
Yay! Perhaps I'll go tomorrow... *crosses fingers* Hopefully!

I exercise mostly cardio at least 4 times a week. My off days are spent cleaning house, doing yard work, doing grocery shopping, none of which is official exercise, but it burns calories just the same. I also say my work is sedentary, but I am usually standing to do my job. I also have to walk quite a bit on busy days. Then there are the stairs when we go to the bathroom and go to break and lunch. I think I walk about a mile throughout the day in my sedentary job.0

I exercise every day unless something hurts (not just muscle tightness, but real pain) and then I take time off until it doesn't bother me anymore.0

I exercise 6 days a week, but alternate cardio with strength training and sprinkle in Pilates or Yoga. Listen to your body, bet rest, stay hydrated, and if nothing hurts... keep on exercising.0

5 days a week for me 30-45min...when weather is nicer (summertime) i can walk easily daily 1-2hrs0
-
Only been started for 5 days, but done 5 days straight at the gym (2 hours each visit) and then 90 minutes of competitive football/soccer today aswell.0

i do 7, mostly because i have OCD and everything becomes routine, lol.
however, my workouts are fairly low impact; exercise bike, treadmill, walking, weights, pushups, and situps.
occasionally i take a day off if there is absolutely no time or if i'm nursing an injury.0 -
When your exercise is new puppy you exercise every day at least 2 times, with one leisurely walk in addition. It is much, much easier with a canine companion but you need to add his needs as well--like stopping and sniffing at all the wondrous smells.0

At least one day off. But try to practice yoga on the rest day and maybe one more. Stretching helps develop the muscles.0
