New (evening) date ideas? Perhaps more healthy ones?

So I've noticed my boyfriend and I do dinner and drinks EVERYTIME we get together, over the time we've gotten together, I realized I've gained a LOT of weight.

Any ideas on how to switch things up? we usually end up getting together in the evenings because of our schedule so it's really hard to plan things other than dinner and a movie or something. what other evening activities can we throw in so we can eventually switch things up to more healthy activities?

Dancing, walking the mall, walking the park, hiking, bike riding, etc. I am desperate to get back on my bike and hiking so I can have more quality time with my hubby. I love doing those things with him and then I can splurge on a smoothie or something afterwards!

    skating!
  • Is there an ice or skate rink near you? Take your own healthy snacks , movie is ok but why not eat before you go?

    Bowling.
    A concert
A play (community or college theatre)
    a sporting event
    disc golf
    tennis

take a long walk around a lake or other pretty place
take a picnic to a park
  • These are all wonderful ideas. we do bowling every now and then, it's just a lot harder to plan evening activities since our city isn't the best place to be walking around at night. and the eating before we leave sounds like a good idea, both of our houses are filled with people so it was always a hassle before to really consider that idea, but I guess we can suck it up and maybe make a meal together :]

Try going for a walk in the woods at night, if you have woods near you!
All you'll need is head torches or hand torches
I did it with my boyfriend and not only was it one of the most frightening experiences of my life, it was also incredibly romantic!
We were walking for a good hour or so : )

for winter: ice skating, sledding, (if you can afford it and like it) skiing
otherwise: ballroom/latin dancing, do a healthy cooking class together...
