Is the Atheno Greek Yogurt healthy?

I just started eating it as a snack ( the blueberry and peach one) and was wondering if it was healthy. It has 9 grams of sugar ( is that a lot?)
Also, are wheat thins or kraft cheese ok? ( I dont eat them since I started dieting , but just curious. If not, what crackers or cheese should I have?)
Last of all, just curious! What snacks do you eat when you're hungry ??
Thank you!

If I were you, I would do a mock food entry day. Put in there what you would think you would eat in a day, and see where you are with it.
As far as the yogurt - Greek yogurt is very good for you, but the ones with the fruit in them are very high in sugar. Personally, I like Fage plain 0% yogurt. I put 1/2 a pomigranite in there, but you can put any sort of fresh fruit - That way YOU control the sugar.
As far as your cheese question.... Anything processed, like cheeses, should be eating in moderation, if you must eat them at all. Just read the nutritional info on the back of all the cheeses, and pick out the best one.
Just remember - calories and fat intake are important, but so is sodium. Its great if you eat a 100 calorie can of soup, but have you seen the sodium on those???? To much sodium will slow down your weight loss, no matter how few calories you eat.0 -
Thanks so much for all the advice, it really helps! I'll try buying some of the plain yogurt instead for sure. And for the cheese, I'll try to cut it out as much as I can then , and eat it in moderation. I never thought much about Sodium until now , its really interesting to know all that .
Thank you so much once again!0 -
Old post, but I just discovered something I think is worth sharing. Unflavored greek yogurt has a lot of protein per calorie but I don't necessarily like the sourness of it. HOWEVER, I sprinkled a little crystal lite powder in it and it tastes just like flavored yogurt!-If you're not opposed to artificial sweeteners I suggest you try it.0
