I was using another web site to track my food and excercise and it went down. Found this one via searching the web. I have made excuses for several years about why I did not start excercing and eating right. I have a Health degree to boot! I hired a trainer last year and so far have lost 4 sizes. I lost 20 lbs but felt good about that as my metabolism was so messed up by yo yo dieting. Anyway, my trainer moved to a diiferent town and so I have decided to use this site. I have signed up for a 5K in June and my goal is to finish in under 45 minutes. I want to lose 50 pounds. I am in my fifties, work full time in a secretarial type job, which I do not care for but am thankful I havfe a job, I like to read, knit, walk my German Shepard, play bunco, and shop thrift stores. My husband is the type of guy who never gains weight but is supportive of my efforts. One thing we do is write a dinner menu for the week and then grocery shope.   • hi i just started today as well with my first 30 min workout. I need to lose 50 to get to my target weight of 165. I'm a single mother of 2 little boys (5 and 3) and i can't find the energy to do anything with them like i want to. i need to get in better shape for them and for me. good luck on your journey.
