I wake up at 1am to eat?

What if I wake up again at 3am to eat? Does the 1am turn into a snack and the 3am become breakfast?

What if I eat a turkey sandwich in the middle of the night? Is it ok to eat lunch at 1am/3am instead of breakfast?

Please help, I am so confused!

WTF? Break fast is the breaking of the fast. This is "normally" done some time after waking up. We all have different scedules.

Breakfast is between 5am and 11am. Otherwise it's a snack. Case closed.

    Is this a hobbit rule?

    And what time is brunch?

Brunch is between 10:30am and 1pm. Before 10:30 is breakfast. After 1pm is definitely lunch. It's a late lunch until 5pm when it becomes tea. From 7pm it's dinner until 10pm, after which you're into snacks again. (There might be room to consider "supper" between 9pm and 11pm but you're pushing it.)

Hobbits...... I would need to consult with a Middle Earth authority to advise on their timetabling conventions.

If it is a snack, and you eat it only half awake... does it count?

You're gonna be all right here, kid. Nicely played. Now you must walk away and allow it to implode.

I've spent most of my life working on boats, so food is a round the clock affair. I simply use midnight to midnight to track my calories. Eat when you need to, just count your calories in a 24 hour period.... consistently.
