looking for healthy dessert...

I'm in charge of bringing dessert to a party this evening. There will be both kids and adults. I'm looking for something besides the standard strawberries, angel food cake and whipped cream. It can't have artificial sweetners but I would love lots of fruit...

Any suggestions?

I made Pumpkin muffins/cupcakes for a baby shower and they were a hit!

1 15 oz can pure pumpkin
    1 box spice cake mix
    Whipped Cream Cheese frosting

Just mix the pumpkin & cake mix together and bake (do not add the other ingredients the box calls for). Then frost with the Cream Cheese frosting (about 2 tsp or 1/2 tbsp).

When I made them, they were about 241 calories each, though they would be less without the frosting.

I have also heard you can do this with brownies, though I haven't tried.

Angel Lush Cake is wonderful.... The recipe is on a 6 oz. pkg of instant vanilla pudding, or go to:

    http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/angel-lush-51103.aspx

It still has the angel food cake, and the cool whip, AND some strawberries.... but it's wonderful!

You could also opt for a tray of fresh fruit with homemade dip.

8 oz low fat cream cheese
6 oz sugar free, fat free vanilla yogurt
    1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp Splenda or use sugar

or - omit the vanilla and use brown sugar and it tastes like caramel dip!

Try http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/browse-recipes.asp - you have to sign up - - but they have decent recipes, and an ok recipe builder.

I just wanted to update the I brought chocolate fondue with lots of fruits (strawberries, bananas, melon andfigs) and a cut up angel food cake. Everybody loved it and my friend and I who are watching what we eat just ate the fruit!

Thanks for all the ideas, I really appreciate them! I try to stay away from hungrygirl.com because she uses a lot of artificial stuff and I'm trying to eat better while eating more naturally...
