Hi,
I am new to my fitness pal. I need to get back on track. I am a retired school custodian now for 12 yrs. Maried with a grown daughter and three granddaughters. My husband has 3 grown children with 7 grown grandchildren and between the two of us we have 7 great grandchildren. My goal is to lose and be healthier in 2012.

I am also new on fitness pal. So far I am loving it! Just my first day today. I've been doing the yo yo dieting for ten years now so I do hope that this works for me. Weight Watcher's is my normal way to go to lose weight and I do lose but alway gain it back. So hope this works. Must stay focus!0 -

My first day here, saw about 5 references to this site in the past 24 hours. Took it as a sign.
I ate sparingly today, even at a restaurant! I'm in my 50's, have 44 lbs to lose before I'm remotely satisfied. Lost 10 lbs last year. I like to exercise, hiking, backpacking, etc, but get waylaid quite often.
Would love a "buddy".

I am also new to this site. I started on Saturday. I am currently doing Jenny Craig again. I am turning 50 this year and I would love to finally get this weight off. I have tried several diets, WW, Atkins, and etc. I truly believe that I need portion control in order for this to work so that is why I went back to Jenny Craig, plus I have a great counselor. This website is great for helping me track all my food. I weigh in on Saturday. I was also able to get 30 min of exercise in today. It is also nice to have a website to talk with other people trying to diet. I have a lot of weight to lose.0 -

You have to add strength training under the cardio section for it to count.0 -
I am not exactly new my friend introduced me to the site. It is a lot easier than most of the other ones. I will be happy to help anyone who wants to add me or message me. I have taken a fitness trainer course and have been here a while. I am always looking for new friends.
