too much protein?

Anytime I log my food, it always shows that I'm going over my protein - on average 5-7 points over. I'm typically working out 5-6x a week for 40 minutes a day (cardio with 1 group power class a week)...does anyone know if it's really bad for me to be going over my protein allotment this often?

  • I don't think it's a big deal to go over your protein intake, as long as your calories are under your goal. I think the numbers are out of whack anyway, because I rarely am under my sugar and protein goals, unless I don't eat meat for the most part of my day, and it is not realistic for non-vegetarians.
