Curbing late night hunger?

So, I ate 1,500 calories today, and netted 1,200. I stuck to my goals for the day, ate generally healthfully, and was very full from dinner.
Now I find my tummy grumbling at midnight and don't know what to do! I've drank a diet peach Snapple, and that didn't help.
What do you do to curb late night cravings?

Haha I don't curb them. Around 11 or midnight I start getting hungry. If I can't stand the hunger pain I eat a Tbsp of natural peanut butter. That or some crunchy veggies. Then I don't feel so bad if I go over. Going to bed earlier, or pushing your meals a bit later can help.0

I ate all my baby carrots yesterday, so no more crunchy veggies.
And unfortunately I'm a natural born insomniac.
I'm thinking I might try the peanut butter trick with some wheat thins or something!0 -
Hot tea usually does the trick for me.0

Popcorn is a great late-night munchie, if you cook it yourself and don't add the butter! If you have an air-popper, even better. Or go out and get one of you can. 1c is 31 calories!0

I insist on eating right before bed. It helps with blood sugar and will keep you sleeping throughout the night. In fact i'm heading to bed now after having 400+ calories of cereal! Yum!
PS: If lions, and tigers can eat the majority of their food before sleeping why cant you?0 -
An apple and hot green tea (no sugar!) works for me.0

Well sleep is a major aid in weightloss your body needs time to shut down n boot back up so to speak 8-9 hrs a night is key as well r u spacing your meals out ideal is eating 6 small meals a day and drinking half your body weight in ounces in water splitting that between your meals and always drinking a cup of water before u eat;) I eat way less calories than u do on my Medifast 700-900 and rarely have an issue with being hungry...and when I do find I am I drink water..plain water your body might be craving this..try it and see how it works;) Do your best to create a schedule so u can go down better maybe a soothing nite routine...quite music..or nature sounds etc;)0

I eat every night before I go to bed. If I don't, I will wake up in the middle of the night and boy will I be hungry. When this happens, I am usually half asleep and I fall back into my old habits of eating crap - cookies, candy, cake, etc. So, I make sure I have something healthy every night before bed (cottage and cheese and a banana have been my new favorite (not mixed together! LOL).
If you find this happens often, you may want to consider saving some calories for later in the evening. It doesn't have to be a lot - maybe 100 or so.0 -

NO WAY.
31cal if you use the air popper! Oil popped on the stove is 55cal/cup, still not bad. I use chili powder or white cheddar favoring to give it some flavor - sprinkle some in with the oil.0 -
I don't get to bed until around 4 or 5am most nights, so I try to spread my meals and snacks out, to where I'm still in my range, but I'm taking slightly larger portions, and I can eat most of my lunch in my 30 minute break, and about 2 hours later, I'll finish it. About 2 hours later, I'll have my snack (usually either a homemade trail mix or nuts), and when I get home around 3am, I'm eating my light dinner, and about an hour later, I go to bed on a satisfying note. All of us are different, and that's just what works for me.0
