Need weight help...

Hi!
im old to myfitnesspal but new to the board here.
I need some fitness/diet help...
i have been hitting the gym 3x a week doing weights for about 30-40 min. i do a combo of upper, lower and abs. I also do 4 x a week cardio...2 interval training for 30 min, 1 medium/hard hike for 90 min and 1 easy brisk walk for 60 min.
My food is pretty good in that my choices are great but im not sure about the calories. I also drink a gallon of water a day, take tons of vtamins! Myfitnesspal has me at 1300 calories which is what i have been sticking to but I am gaining weight and inches!
i started at 130.5 and am now up to 134. My waist has gone up an inch.
i am a 32 yr old female standing at 5'7.5"
any help would be great...what am i doing wrong?

How long have you been doing these workouts? If it has been a while you might want to change it up a little bit. Increase intensity or distance, one at a time. Also lift heavier weights and change the strength trng exercises.
Are you eating your exercise calories? If not try to eat them or at least most of them. Kudos on drinking that much water. Watch your sodium intake.
How much more do you want to lose? It says in your profile that you want to lose 15lbs. You are tall. What is your weight goal? Sometimes when you are pretty close to your weight goal it will be harder to lose if not impossible.

I think for your height you are in your healthy range. I am 5.5" and 135 is my goal weight. That puts me smack dab in the middle of healthy BMI. So that being said for your activity level I am guessing that 1300 is NOT enough for you. That you should be eating your exercise cals. You probably should have your cals set to 1500 cals not 1300.... Your body IS gonna hold on now to everything, cause you are in healthy range and you are NOT eating enough......I am sure others will have an opinion........good luck.:flowerforyou:0

Hi!
Sorry! I am under my husbands profile...i am 5'7.5" and 131 pounds. I would like to get down to 127-128. I have been doing these new exercises for about 2 weeks and am lifting heavier than ever before.
I burn anywhere from 400-700 calories and try to eat around 1300 calories...too little? too much?
am i lifting to heavy of a weight and bulking from that? I want to get my measurments back down.
