A Tonka game. . . .
Okay, I'm sure everyone has heard of a Haiku; but what about a Tonka? (Not the toy) Basically, it is "chain" haiku.
One person writes a haiku; then the next person adds the next two lines to it using Tonka syllable rules. That creates the 5 line stanza called a Tonka.
The next person writes the haiku; the next person adds the next two lines, creating another Tonka. And so on . . .
Haiku/Tonka typically has some type of reference to nature; but for this exercise in fun, let's not make that a rule. It's like Japanese poetry association. The lines can be on anything and do not have to rhyme; just make sense.
The first three lines are in the form of a haiku: 1st line: 5 syllables; 2nd line: 7 syllables; 3rd line: 5 syllables. The haiku becomes a tonka when the last two lines of 7 syllables each are added.
The next person can use word/subject association when the create the next haiku, or they can go on to another subject,
Here's an example that a friend and I wrote:
A man and his dog
Rests his eyes, scratches a tick -
Tock, the daylight fades.
The porch will moan under foot -
Steps of boot and paw.
So, am I a winner of the literary nerd club, or is anyone interested?

So, here we go!

Here's another one . . . Its kinda like learning a card game; you have to play a few rounds to get the hang of it.
Let's see if I can make this one more fitting to our humorous side: (without turning into a lymric):
