Hi. New to MFP. Liking it so far. Also tracking food on Fitbit, to see which site I prefer. So far liking MFP for its barcode scanning ability & now see you can integrate with Fitbit, which is great. What I would like to know is: how much water is in a "cup". I'm assuming about 200 ml, but is there a more precise definition? Would be great to enter actual water volume in mls. Thanks.

8 ounces in a cup...
not sure how that translates to mls....0 -
Thanks. 1 imperial (i.e. British) fluid ounce is 28.41 ml; 1 US fl oz = 29.57 ml. Think I'll cal it 30 ml & make the mental arithmetic easy0

8 ounces is one cup, according to MFP.0

a cup is 237 ml when doing it in my head I also use 30ml/ounce to make it easier!0

In Canuck land we use 250 mL for wet measurements which includes water. I have a 1L jug that aim to drink twice daily.0

I would say 250ml is = to a '"cup" aswell. I have a 710ml sports bottle I try to fill 4x daily0
