HI, I'M NEW!

Hello! I was skeptical at first at being able to keep my calories below 1300 a day. But after the first day (which I failed to meet the goal), I persevered and now I am in my second day and looks like I just might make the cut. I have begun running about a month ago. I now can run 2.8 miles in 40 minutes. I am proud of that! I hope to soon run a half-marathon and I am signed up to do a Spartan 5k. That means I am not only working on running but getting stronger. I have far to go, at least in my own mind. I am VERY motivated and determined, and would welcome similarly minded athletes (both new at it and the veterans) to join me and send me friend requests!
