I own my first digital scale. It counts by .2, .4, .6, .8.
Ok, I feel stupid but each means 1/4 of a lb?

1/4 th of a lb would be .25, .50, .75; your scale measures in 1/5 (there are 5 parts to the whole) .2, .4, .6, .8 and the whole lb. Hope that helps.0
