Back on Nov. 29th 2011 I did a video game study for gearbox games and part of the perks was a bunch of swag. One of the items of Swag was an awesome shirt that said gearbox on it. The biggest size they had was 2x. So I checked that on my paper and got home to see how it fit. I could barely squeeze into it, it was sooo tight. My wife said "well I can use it as a night shift" I said "no I am keeping this shirt as a goal". Well this weekend I tried it on and it fit!. Still slightly tight in a couple of minor spots but you can't see it when your looking at me I can feel it though. So I have now gone from wearing 4x because it felt comfortable to wearing 3x and now this shirt I can now fit into a 2x. I also bought 2 shirts form target on clearance in Nov. for $2.50 each, both are 2x and I can now fit into those. So amazing that I can now shop at target and other stores for shirts. Now if only my pant size would get there. =)

Congrats; that must feel great, knowing that the goal clothes you've been 'saving' that now are a reality!

Well done - I'm getting closer to the day when I can shop in normal stores that don't just specialise in outsize clothing, but do go up to a larger range, if you know what I mean LOL

It really must have been a great feeling for you!

This is awesome! I too look forward to walking into a store to shop instead of buying online.

Although let's get serious - I'll still buy online - easiest way to shop as often as I do! :)

I will most likely shop online as well. So much better but I have to shop in store because I have no clue what my size is right now with my weight changing all the time.
  • Nice job! I too always love it when your wardrobe increases. It is a real indicator of your effort!
