I'm a terrible comfort eater. Today I had to say goodbye to my partner for a month and found myself down the shop getting everything I shouldn't have done.
It's been such a bad day for eating and I'm just wondering how other cope with stopping comfort eating?
It's making me feel worse and making me want to eat more

I used to be a huge comfort eater (probably still am if I gave myself the chance), but I find that if I keep myself busy and don't sit down, then the distraction will stop me from eating a bunch of crap that I don't need.0

I've tried distracting myself and going out for walks without any money but I still feel unhappy and end up eating when I'm done0
