Confused and gaining weight

So this week everytime I've stepped on the scale I have been a pound heavier, I haven't recorded it because it's that time of the month that I don't record, but I'm really upset that I'm moving up instead of down!
I've been on MFP since july and this has never happened the scale has always moved down not up!
Has this happened to any of you?

It's that time of the month for me..and I was so mad when I weighed and gained back what I had lost. I'm just getting started on MFP, which, I guess this was not the best week to start counting calories and weighing, but oh well. Better now than never. I'm just trying to stay at it and keep a positive attitude that the weight will come off. (Even though secretly I want to just eat a bunch of chocolate while I watch my scale go up in flames after I've set it on fire!..lol) But, I'm staying positive. Yesterday, I didn't not have any soda at all. And, today, I passed up a box of doughnuts at work! I'm determined this time! Stick with it! It will get better0

Whats your diet and exercise like?? has it only happened the once or are you gaining every week? x0

It has only happened this once! and I've exercised everyday and not eaten those cals back, which is pretty standard for me. So its strange. I've been eating more sugar lately so I'm going to try and cut that out for the next couple days to see if that helps and drops me back down to 111!0
