I'm starting a boot camp class at the gym tonight. I do not have a HRM. How should I log?

It depends on what type of exercises you'll be doing. Log it under aerobics general, arerobics high impact, circuit training, or calisthenics.

Though others have already said it, I would agree with the circuit training

I like to use this website http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc to calculate group fitness classes. I typically go to the class first, then enter the "activities" separately. I do a muscle pump class at my gym so I normally enter a few min doing calisthenics, plyometrics, weight lifting general, weight lifting vigorous, stretching, push ups, sit ups etc. whatever applies to your class. You can then create an exercise under the exercise tab... and use it every time. FYI - i feel like sites overestimate the calorie burn, so I normally don't enter a full 60 min. for the class because you are not constantly in motion... I normally use 50 min or so. Good luck!
  • I log it as circut training, I do have a heart rate monitor and the calories are close--a little high on the website for it.

    Good Luck

in about a 45 minute class i burn about 450 calories (every minute about 10 calories) also almost equivalent to circut training in the exercise diary defaults
