Workout Music

I find that I do better in the gym if I've got good music to workout to but my playlist is getting kind of old. Does anybody have music suggestions? What are your favorite songs to workout to?

I love Flyleaf's Memento Mori album. Her music is all really good, if you enjoy that kind of music. Plus a lot of fast paced metal (because that's really just my style). But it's definitely not for everyone. ;)

Here is my workout playlist. I'm always on the lookout for more songs!
Some of these are popular and some very unknown, several in various languages but they make a great lineup, especially when on shuffle!

Make It Bueuno - Spring Breakdown Soundtrack
    The Hounds - The Protomen
Light Up the Night - The Protomen
It's Raining Men - The Weather Girls
    Superhero! Song - Drake Bell
Flashdance What a Feeling – Irene Cara
Freak the Freak Out - Victorius Cast
    Maniac – Michael Sembello
Born to Be My Baby - Bon Jovi
    Tic Toc - Kesha
I Don't Want to Go Home - Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes
    Forever - Chris Brown
If I Had You - Adam Lambert
You Give Love a Bad Name - Bon Jovi
If I Can't Have You - Kelly Clarkson
Shot Through the Heart - Bon Jovi
I Will Survive - Enrique Iglesias (not the popular 70's song)
My Beloved – a really good Russian rock song
Witchdoctor – From the Chipmunks movie
    Sober – Pink
    Piel Morena - Thalia
Men in Black – Will Smith
Somos Mar y Arena – Agina
    Everytime We Touch – Cascada
    Ava Mary A – Pink
I Need to Know – Marc Anthony
U and Ur Hand – Pink
Holding Out for a Hero – The Shrek Version (LOL!)
Come Baby Come – Elvis Crespo
    Footloose – Kenny Loggins
Livin’ La Vida Loca – Ricky Martin
    Fame – Irene Cara
    Brains – Cabaret Voltaire
I Will Survive – Gloria Gaynor
    YMCA – Village People
Get This Party Started – Pink
    Dancing Queen – ABBA
Token Scottish Drinking Song - The Pogues
Eye of the Tiger – Surviver
This is the Life – Amy MacDonald
    Goodbye – Kristina DeBarge
Hot N Cold – Katy Perry
Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through - Meatloaf

oh, and as a warning, most of the Pink songs have swear words in them!

I like Rihanna, Britney Spears, LMFAO, (the list goes on and on)... any music that I could dance to works... that includes club music. I need upbeat, get up and move music.

I use Pandora on my phone as I work out. If you're familiar with that, try Cyclone Radio - it has some great workout music.

Not sure how far afield their music reaches, but I'm currently working out to UK Dubstep band "Nero" - Very high intensity throughout the majority of their music.

Seriously, add me as a friend, I update my feed with songs that I really dig for biking/working out. Just earlier I posted Flo' Rida's "In the Ayer" which is a fantastic song for keeping pace. My exercise is measured by song number right now (that i convert to minutes) and it's great!

I like Black Eyed Peas, Disturbed, Puddle of Mudd, Awolnation, Kitty, pretty much anything that has a good beat. I tend to lean toward the "angry music" as my friends like to call it!

Workout music all depends on the type of workout for me. During high intensity training sessions, I like music that gets me amped up with an intense beat. During heavy strength training or cardio, I like music where the lyrics remind me of why I'm training. Here's a sample of my workout playlist.

    Crashed-Daughtry
    Play-David Banner
It's All About the Benjamins (rock mix)-P. Diddy
    Dropping Plates-Disturbed
    'Till I Collapse-Eminem

David Guetta's album "Nothing but the Beat" is AMAZING for working out. Every single song is upbeat and keeps me going non-stop when I'm at the gym. LMFAO's latest album is also really great for working out!

If you go to iTunes and search Workout Music there is a few albums that have 60 mins of popular songs that have been altered so the beat is fast and amazing! Between those songs, and Skrillex... it keeps me moving nonstop!
