Read an article the a couple of weeks ago by Dr. Oz about the benefits of African Mango Extract in your diet. Normally I don't believe a whole lot about the supplements discussed in magazines, since they are usually just a product plug. This one caught my eye, because he wasn't saying to go buy a specific product, just that the ingredients in general were very helpful. So I did a little research on my own, and found a couple of supplements that contain the African mango in the amounts suggested. Very intrigued.

Has anyone tried it? or know of anyone who has?

I grew up in South Africa, lived with unlimited fresh fruit, mangoes being one of my favourite...it has all the benefits fresh fruit have - no need to go and buy expensive supplements....I had the same giggle about the whole pomogranate craze.....Yes it's good for you, the same way broccoli and spinach and apples are good for you..... Make sure you get lots of fruit and vegetables in you diet and you'll be fine.....
  • I am in the process of trying it. Just like you I heard about it from Dr. Oz.
So far I have taken it 8 days. Have not noticed anything yet except that I am always thirsty.
I got the stuff called Integra-lean Irvingia.
One of the reasons I bought that particular product was that the did a study
on heavy weight people and it also lowered their cholesterol, which is something I have problems with.
However, if the constant thirst issue does not get better I will have to quitt again. I work in a restaurant and can not run to the bathroom all the time.
