should I eat the cals I have left in the evening?

Just my opinion, but you should try to hit that 1200 net. Your body needs fuel to not only operate normally, but to recover after exercise. Of course there a ton of variables, but 1200 seems to be the general consensus as a minimum. Maybe you could snack it up a little more during the day so there aren't so many cals. left in the evening?0

I am a single mom to 3 kids and am too busy to snack during the day... so sometimes if I'm a little short of my calorie goal. I will grab a spoonful of peanut butter before bedtime!! :bigsmile:0

I like the peanut butter idea! Definitely try to make it something healthy if you're using up those e leftover calories as much as you can. A treat now and then is fine, of course!
Try planning your day better and maybe add in a quick snack or two when you can. Handfuls of nuts and/or dried fruit are healthy and calorie dense.0
