The origin of the 200 Mile Madness came out of my injured runner's desire to have a goal to work towards after healing whilst remembering lost friends and supporting current cancer warriors. When I actually made the decision to tell Stripycat about the challenge she leapt at the idea - and as she will admit she'd be too jealous to let me do it on my own so we decided to run 100 official race miles each. The 200 Mile Macmillan Madness was born.

We really need your support in this challenge. Please can you follow, tweet, share and if possibly sponsor us on this crazy year. NO money comes to us, every penny is given directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, the leading charity in the UK for cancer patients, their friends and families.

    This is something that means a great deal to Mima and I. We've both changed our lives in the last 12 months, and vastly improved our health. Now we're reacting to the loss or illness of our friends and family, trying to give something back to charities that have made a difference. It's our way of raising money, but also a reason to keep our commitment to running going, and getting to catch up with our friends all over the country.

    Anyone know of any runs we might want to do?
