    Not suggesting it is a bad thing, or that anyone shouldn't do it. Just suggesting that a large friend's list can get overwhelming.

    Bingo. The truth is most people who get involved with this thread are doing it for that exact reason. Besides, we all have to make cuts from time to time, although it's usually down to people who simply stop logging in, so they get removed. being in on this thread, to me, is a signal of good intent from somebody who feels they would have a better chance of succeeding, should they need any extra support, and that should be exactly the sort of person we all have on our list
