So I have been craving ice cream but am not gonna give in, so I thought about freezing my Greek Yogurt that I have. Do you think it would freeze ok or would it ruin it?

I like to mix greek yogurt with a little water, and protein powder -- other mix ins if you like -- and freeze for about 30 minutes... so it's still kinda soft but starting to freeze - its yummy... I have recipes on my blog..... you have to be sure to get greek yogurt that you like - some is NOT GOOD..... Taste of inspirations (hannaford) is good - so is some chobani flavors, and dannon oikos (key lime is my fave!)....

Smart Ones have a great vanilla fudge brownie ice cream for under 200 calories. (I think 150 but dont quote me). I eat it only as a reward to myself when I have atleast 500 calories left to spare.0

I ate ice-cream every night the whole time I was losing, and continue to eat it now that I am in maintenance. Portion control is the key, 1/2 cup light ice-cream every night0

This is the best! I sometimes even melt a little chocolate and pour it over them. So good.0 -
Greek yogurt makes the best ice cream! If you have an ice cream maker. We buy Cabot 2% yogurt, and mix with honey and some fresh squeezed lime juice. OMG. My daughters love it! Now I'm jonesing. Another one I do is mix yogurt with instant coffee, cocoa powder, honey, and a little brown sugar. Don't even bother freezing it. I eat it for breakfast, with some granola on top. Heaven.0

It gets ruined. At least for me it did.
I have the solution. If you have a blender. I blend frozen fruit (blueberries are the best) with a little bit of skim milk. It whips up into a treat very similar to ice cream. Curbed my craving!
I use 140g of blueberries to about 1/4 cup skim milk.0
