INSANITY/GYM Workout

I am trying to lose 30 lbs I started on the 28th of Dec I lost 5 lbs my first week and zero my 2nd week. I am doing myself a disservice by mixing gym workout with my Insanity workout? any help is greatly appreciated thanks

I think the first week you shocked your body. I am in the second week too and I go to the gym as well for at least an hour. I talked to a trainer at the gym and they said as long as I'm eating enough, getting enough protien and rest I should be fine. '
