fizzy water?

I struggle to drink my quota of water every day,I think because I'm eating less salty foods I'm just not as thirsty.
But I really like sparkling water and I find its a bit more drinkable than still water, but there's still a voice in my head saying "fizzy = bad"
Does it make any difference? I mean, water's water, right? I understand fizzy drinks are full of sugar and sweeteners and stuff and this can't be the case here because its just water,I suppose I'm thinking more of the actual fizz,as in the carbon dioxide that they put in to make it fizzy?
Thanks in advance guys and dolls :-) xxxxx

I would be interested in hearing the answer to this as well, because I love to drink fizzy water and do so often.0
