Looking for some new music for my Running playlist!

Three of my favorites are:
1. "YYZ" by Rush
2. "Side of a Bullet" by Nickelback
3. "La Grange" by ZZ Top

What are 3 of your favorite running tunes, the stuff that pumps you up and keeps you moving?

This is definitely gonna show my age, but almost anything from the Mamma Mia! soundtrack gets me motivated to get off my keister and moving around.

    My top three songs:

    1) Gimme, Gimme, Gimme / Voulez-Vous mix (from the movie)
    2) Dancing Queen
    3) Take a Chance On Me

I like the original ABBA, too, but there's something about this soundtrack that's just amazing.

    1. Joone Khodet (Ey khanoom koja) - by the BLACK CATS ... very catchy tune, nice when working out...
    2. HeadHunter by Front 242
    3. Any and every song by Dave Matthews (that is one where I can't single out any particular tune, sorry :o(

If you go to jog.fm and put in your running time, you will get pages and pages of tunes with a beat that will keep you going! You can divide it by genre, so you don't have to scroll through them all. It's amazing! Personally, here are some of my top tunes:
    1. Dog Days are Over-Florence & the Machine (Alternative)
    2. Vagabond-Wolfmother (Rock)
    3. Paper Planes-M.I.A (Electronic)
    4. Flirtin' With Disaster-Molly Hatchet (Rock)
  • Awesome website! Thanks for the tip!!!

    1) Bad Romance - Lady Gaga
    2) 3 - Britney Spears
    3) The Anthem - Pitbull

These are the first three songs on one of my workout playlists. I agree with some of the other posts too...but really I think it's important to experiment with music that keeps you going...especially beat wise. The right music can make it easier to keep up a stride, breathe in and out, and keep you motivated. Mostly, I think keep it positive and up-beat. Some days I just want to rock out, and others I just like to dance it out.
