This one switched a light on in my head.. it was pretty much the start of it all.

"Is this the point where we give up?
Now is this the point where we give in?
Now is this the point where we turn ourselves in?

Or is this the time to ask questions?
Or is this the time to seek answers?
Now is this the time to throw it all in?

When enough is enough that's when you know that you're halfway there
When enough is enough that's when you know that you're halfway there
You're halfway there
That's when you know that you're halfway there

This is the point where we stand up
Now this is the point where we take back
The things that are keeping us from being free

So when enough is enough that's when you know that you're halfway there
When enough is enough that's when you know that you're halfway there

Your voice the airwaves sent you prayed my life would end,
The wasted time I spent ashamed I called you friend,
Give me one reason, I need a reason
Give me one reason, I need a reason, one reason"

This is definitely gonna show my age, but almost anything from the Mamma Mia! soundtrack gets me motivated to get off my keister and moving around.
(Funny, someone else asked the same thing, at the same time. Here was my response to them!)

    My top three songs:

    1) Gimme, Gimme, Gimme / Voulez-Vous mix (from the movie)
    2) Dancing Queen
    3) Take a Chance On Me

I like the original ABBA, too, but there's something about this soundtrack that's just amazing.

I have a "happy cd" that has all my motivating upbeat songs on it. Sadly, I am not good with names of songs, but a few are:
    What's Goin' on
    Cecilia
    Dancing Queen
    Oh Mickey You're So Fine

I'll add more as I think of them.

Ok so don't laugh.....Marry You by Bruno Mars

The song and it's beat make me feel good inside and inspire me to kick it old school on the treadmill and eleptical.
    Maybe it's the dancing juice....hahahahaha

Although not the usual motivational songs, I often work out to Dashboard Confessional, KoL, Secondhand Serenade, etc. I can't help it, I just love them! And 50 mins goes by much faster with their voices in my ear.

The Middle by Jimmy Eat World

Hey, don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on.
Just try your best, try everything you can.
And don't you worry what they tell themselves when you're away.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).

Hey, you know they're all the same.
You know you're doing better on your own, so don't buy in.
    Live right now.
    Yeah, just be yourself.
It doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).
It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.

Hey, don't write yourself off yet.
It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on.
Just do your best, do everything you can.
And don't you worry what the bitter hearts are gonna say.

It really motivates me and is great to work out to.

I typically dont listen to music unless I do a 15+ mile run. I like to listen for ... cars . Don't want to become road-kill --- unless I do a 15+ miler! hahaha, then sometimes I want it to end...

Any song sung by Gwen Stefani or Aimee Echo* motivates me. I'm a singer so when one of their songs comes on my iPod I think about what those ladies look like on stage and how I want those rockin' bodies. Makes me push harder!

*bonus points for anyone who knows who Aimee Echo is and loves her music. You MUST friend me. :)
