Help me name this recipe - pretty please

I'm working on this recipe, and I just can't find a name for it. I'm looking for something that isn't super long, and actually sounds like something you would want to eat - they're really yummy.

Here's the scoop:

They're little bread balls that are the same consistency as pizza crust. Crispy, but soft and doughy in the middle. They're tomato, and basil flavored (why they're orange) with bits of chopped sun dried tomato running through.

Topped with fresh basil and fresh pearl mozzarella. Some have pepperoni too. I intended them to be some sort of Hors d'oeuvre.


Right now I'm calling them tomato basil bites, but I'm not a fan. Any thoughts?

    The only thing besides, pizza balls that came to my mind was "Tombas" ..............part tomato, part basil..............pronounced either toe-m-bas, or ta-m-bas..............sorry, that's all i got!

    I guess my vote is pizza drop, too. Can't think of anything creative, myself. But, I'd love to try one....

    Pizza drop is cute! Loving that one too!

    For those of you that wanted to try ....they're deceivingly easy to make. I'll be posting up the recipe pretty soon here, and will update with the link. The ingredient list is really short.

    Images in the photo remind me of snails personally. Wasn't it Dillon ho was the Snail in Magic Roundabout, so "Dillon's Mini Pizza's"

    I like pizza drop.

    WIth the toothpicks sticking up and out of them, they remind me of bumper cars at and amusement park. If you were going for a non food name you could use that.

    Doh! I feel silly now. Caprese is the word I was looking for.

    Well, I've now got Dean Martin singing in my head after all this mention of Pizzas!!!

    So what about "Amore" or "That's Amore"

    If nothing else I have hopefully got the tune stuck in someone ele's head now :)

    I liked that girl's idea for Caprese balls, but how about "Caprese Pops" since they're on a stick?

    I like the Caprese idea -- has a nice, classy ring to it.

    I like "bite" over "ball" or "drop".
