Hey all,
So I'm interested in any of the Jillian Michaels workouts (maybe 30 day shred?) and was wondering your views on it. I'm looking for something pretty intense. Not necessarily a "routine" set, but something I can pop in on days that I havent been active. If you have used any and like them, what would you reccommend?
Thanks!
Cassie

I got Ripped in 30 and most definitely recommend it. It also comes with a free meal plan! It is intense. It is set up as a 3-2-1 system which is excellent for weight loss. 3 minutes of weights, 2 min cardio, 1 min of abs. I love it. Was super sore first three days but kept with it and it got better. There are 4 workouts for the 4 weeks increasing in intensity. Only 9.97 at target or Ive seen it on Amazon for 5 but I dont have the patients for it to come in the mail.

I waited for mine to come in the mail, and it came like a day after it said it was shipped.

I have been doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred for about a year now and LOVE it. I just now started today Shed & Shred. I really liked it today and feel great after doing it. It is more challenging. I recommend it already.

I have Fat Banishing / Metabolism Booster (picked it up at Big Lots) for $5. It's pretty intense, all cardio. I can't do almost a whole circuit because it's starting in a plank position and I have a shoulder issue, but I just run up and down my stairs for that part of the video instead!

If you're not used to a lot of impact though, this dvd will HURT, lots of jumping, high knees, butt kicks, etc, so hopefully you have a softer surface to work out on than me and my hard wood floors.

    Good luck!

I have and enjoy a lot of her videos:

30 day shred, ripped in 30, and extreme shed are pretty similar (the last one being a bit longer) and my favorites. The have the mix of cardio, strength, abs
NMTZ is great for days that I don't do cardio. It is really hard but I just do 25 minutes at a time. It is intense strength training.
BFBM is too long of cardio in a dvd for me, I'd rather run, bike, swim, skate on a day I'm going to do that much cardio.
6 pack abs was too hard for me, only tried it once and didn't finish.
Buns of steel, or something like that, I didn't buy because I think it will be like 6 pack abs
Yoga meltdown is pretty good but I hardly do it becaue I am not too familiar with yoga and feel like I have to look at the tv too much
