I use a Slacker station that I seeded with Disturbed and Slipknot, and it has been excellent for running. The three that come first to mind (way hard to choose only three):
Rollin' - Limp Bizkit (surprising - NOT one of my favorites, but excellent for running)
Click Click Boom - Saliva
Broken Beat and Scarred - Metallica ("what don't kill you make you more strong")0 -

Aren't they? That's why I used them for my name and ticker here, because they keep me motivated...it's impossible to hear them and not want to move! It's nice to meet someone else who's heard of them. ^_^0 -
Notorious THUGS - Notorious B.I.G. (the beat is perfect and steady through the whole song, the song is f*in' long, and it's fun to try to memorize the words)

I keep a really good mix of beats because I run long distances. I don't have too hard a time keeping my pace, but I so have a hard time keeping my mind engaged, so I like songs I can lose myself in.
1) Copperline - James Taylor
2) Set Fire to the Rain - Adele
3) She Moves in Her Own Way - The Kooks
Also, I second the support of Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Oh and about a zillion more. I ran a half marathon this year and have built some huge running playlists0 -
Kick *kitten* - Egypt Central
Remember the Name - Fort Minor
Move Your Body - My Darkest Days0 -
1) Unsung by Helmet
2) Bodies by Drowning Pool

We didn't start the fire - Billy Joel
Fat bottom Girls - Queen
Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
If I had to just pick three. I love my whole playlist.0 -
1) Any current favorite show tune. Right now, it's "sooner or later" from Sondheim's **** Tracy (but only when I am in a place I can sing along)
2) A tie between "Live and Let Die" Paul McCartney or "Dream On" Aerosmith
3) I like the Way you Move "outkast" or "earth, wind and fire"
yep, I have a wierd collection of playlists, and I pretty much dated myself, didn't I?0 -
I got 3 playlists I use for running depending on the mood and pace of run. Most of the songs there I find great for running but I have a couple of special power songs (term from back in the days when I was using Nike+) that get me over the hill or help on the last couple of miles of the long run.
Metallica - Enter Sandman
Nickelback - Animals
KISS - Love Gun0 -
I use to click on "randomize all the songs" but I found some magic with:
* Waiting - Dash Berlin feat. Emma Hewitt
* This Light Between Us - Armin Van Buuren feat. Christian Burns
* Sun And Moon - Above & Beyond feat. Richard Bedford0
