I am entering my strength / weight training into the online diary I'm keeping, But, there are no noted calories burned for that work. Am I entering this incorrectly? Thanks for your response & suggestions of how to keep better track of non-cardio calorie burn.

    I'm pretty sure when you enter strength training it doesn't give you the calories you burn. But if you enter strength training under the cardio section, it will give you calories.

    It does not allow me to enter any form of strength training under cardio.....I've checked.

    Cardio --> Weight Lifting

    Its too hard for MFP to guess how many calories you've burnt since there are too many different variables.
  • Thanks for the tip! I really appreciate it!

    I just came to the board to enter the same question! @lunarscape..thank you for the tip, it did allow me to enter strength training under cardio. Even if it is not completely accurate, seeing the extra calories burned helps with motivation!
  • I know it may be irrelevant to your post, but if you check out 'Elliott Hulse' on you tube, he has tons of videos explaining about fat burn and calorie loss from strengh training and gives advise, he is 10/10 for info, helped my game lots, good luck, no reps no sets train til failure :)
