Ok...so, I like exercising, but...I hate sweating from it. If I'm playing a sport or something, no big deal, you don't realize your sweating...but, on a treadmill, or workout video, I notice it and don't like it. My question...is it better to do ALL your workout at once, or is it just as effective if I do like 20 mins to a half hour at a time through out the day?
Thanks!

  • Your body doesnt go into fat burn mode till you keep your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes ive been told
  • As far as I know, calories burned are calories burned. However, I think you burn more calories doing it all at once because your heart rate stays up for a longer period of time. I'm not very knowledgable about these things though so don't take my word for it. But, I agree with you about sweating! Yucky..

From everything I have read all over town it does not matter if you do all your exercising at one time. The only key point to exercise is that you get your heart rate up. From what I understand thats what burns them calories....hope this helps!!!
And I hope I am not misleading you......

It doesn't matter. Do what you like.
