I was wondering if anyone had a good recommendations for a work out video. A before and after video would be nice too. I am a beginner by the way!
Thanks anything will help!

  • Slim in 6, insanity, turbo fire, Les miles pump! All of these are cardio with some muscle games. Insanity is hardest Slim in 6 would be the easiest to jump into, but Turbo fire is one of our womans favorites. Let me know if you need any more info.

turbo jam is great to start. A lot of fun and a great workout. Also, anything Jillian is great, 30 day shred is a good start.

I agree! I really like Ripped in 30, but I am not impressed with the Yoga Workout.

Jillian's 30 Day Shred is a good workout. I do that along with strength training and brisk walking. Perfect addition to my weekly routine.

Bob Harpers Beginner's weight loss transformation is great. Leslie Sansone's walking DVDs are good for beginners for cardio. You really feel it in your legs. I have the ultimate collection. I like the Jillian Micaels DVDs, 30 Day Shred, Ripped in Six.

I got a couple from prevention fitness with Chris Freytag, the one tape has a nice beginners walking workout and strength training exercises. It has an option of 20 or 30 minute workouts and a different one for monday thru sunday. It's called Get Moving with Chris Freytag. I also like Pilates I really noticed a difference from them after a couple of months, but make sure you start with a beginner or intermediate tape of that the expert level is difficult I've tried it and went back down to intermediate :) Good luck
  • I love the 10-Minute Solution series, especially the pilates, yoga and strength training ones. They're great if you're short on time. I have some major back issues so I'm limited in what I can do so ( no turbojam, no Jillian Michaels).

I also do a lot of Walk Away the Pounds.

cathe Freidrich very hard and she gets the job done.. they are very effective and fun.. it goes by fast and she has awesome music.. look up cathe.com it has video clips of hers... try low impact circuit and Body max 2 and her new ones are low impact like afterburn is really hard but easily can be modified to work with you, if you are not a advanced exerciser yet... But all of them you can make them work.,. Highly recommend her the fun factor is way up there and you never get bored. And al her dvd are like getting three or four other workouts on them. there are "premixes" on the same dvd.. Awesome more bang for the buck!!
