Before/After pics of POSITIVE weight gain?

I'm interested to see if anyone has gained weight due to building more muscle, but looks better than what they did at a lighter weight? I always hear people saying "Muscle is denser than fat" "You're not gaining fat weight, you're gaining muscle", especially now that my weight has started to creep back up from 135 to 140. So it would be some real motivation and encouagement to see some pictures of positive weight gain due to muscle! Especially if you're a woman.

I'm having the same issue! I've been losing inches, but gaining "weight" - I do pilates 3-4X's a week and cardio just as much and am still on a sensible diet. I attribute this gain to muscle...not fat : )0

I've stopped losing weight, but can tell that I have added muscle. I wish I would have took some measurements when I started. I did buy a smaller size belt 2 weeks ago.0

Not exactly a weight gain, but about 6 years ago, last time I lost weight by just drastically cutting calories, I was a size 8 at 130# and this time, with a moderate calorie deficit I'm a size 4 (sometimes 2) at 130#. Here's those same size 8 jeans on me now and in comparison to my new jeans. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/449570-mfp-mythbusters-losing-weight-fast-exercise-calories-girl0

That's actually exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for the inspiration! I'll keep this in mind next time I step on the scale.0 -
I would say that your best motivator may be measuring Body Fat %. I've been hovering around the same weight for about 6 weeks but I've dropped my body fat % by 1.5 - 2% by keeping my calorie count down and doing quite a bit of strength training. I can feel that I'm getting leaner and stronger even if my weight isn't going down (and has been up on some weeks).
Advice is workth exactly what you pay for it.0 -

I have been keeping track of my BF% using a handheld caliper, but haven't noticed a change in that yet. Currently at 24%, which is the same as 3 weeks ago when I measured.0 -
